Entrepreneurs showcase Guernsey at European tech summit

Tech entrepreneurs from Guernsey have been promoting the island at a European web conference.

Six Guernsey-based firms attended the Web Summit Lisbon 2024 at a stand run by Digital Greenhouse.

The States-backed innovation hub said its stand, at one of the world’s largest tech conferences, promoted the island’s “vibrant start-up ecosystem”, as well as the “advantages Guernsey offers to entrepreneurs and businesses”.

A spokesperson said: “One of the key messages we shared at web summit was the success of businesses that have emerged from Guernsey’s ecosystem.”
